One renderer emits native srcset and sizes, trims candidates to each image's real width, and raises fetch priority on the LCP image.

The drawer ships as a skeleton; line items are built in the browser from /cart.js, and add-to-cart is intercepted at the capture phase.
Variant selection without a round-trip
Option data ships as a JSON island; picking a size or color resolves the variant locally in a Web Component.
